The Pork Rind Selection here is very good! Would highly recommend the Spicy ones especially. Come here on the weekly for porky treats!! Love pigs. My sister owned a pig farm growing up and i would always eat the skin that fell off, so the quantity here is amazing!

sandwiches are better than subway, anyway. the gelato is great. i like the feral chickens with constant chicks. wildly overpriced and they love throwing hidden fees onto everything without telling you. Note: hidden is not subtle, adding one extra ingredient adds a full one-third the cost of the sandwich on to the price. They're typically very nice though, except for when it gets busy. like many people in Hawaii it seems like they have a very difficult time handling anything even reasonably fast-paced so they seem to get overwhelmed

Pricey general store with lots of takeout food options that are affordable compared to some of the more expensive sit-down dine-in options in this touristy area.

I bought 6 pack of beer which should be 10.49$ but they charged me 14.99$ for mixing two flavours of the same beer, and before that I asked them if I can do that. They said yes, and didn’t inform me, that they will charge almost 50% of the price charge. It seems like they want to ear additional money on tourists.

A nice place to get hot food or healthy meal options. A bit pricey but very yummy! There is an atm here if you need cash. I think the only atm in makawao town.

Came here for a quick lunch. Was blown away by the delicious poke bowls and AMAZING pulled pork sandwich. Store sells a lot of drinks too and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth the stop over.

A little bit of everything: great sandwiches and prepared food, some produce (some local) and staples, and some luxuries - including a wine room. Prices seem to be about the same as everywhere else in Hawaii (except maybe Costco and Wallmart if you want to go for a drive). Helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more.

Came to Makawo to quick look at some shops before catching our flight out of Maui. Came upon this store and the menu looked really good. We wanted to eat quick before our flight anyway. I had the Asian chicken sandwich and my husband had the ahi poke bowl. Both were absolutely amazing and filled with flavor! Staff was very helpful and nice too. Looks like you can also pick up snacks and such too. Worth checking out.

This little store has everything you would want to snack on or eat. Cold brew nitro coffee is awesome and so is the selection of sandwiches and poke! Staff was extremely nice! Cant wait to come back!

My Mom buys my food here so I like it. They are really nice to my ginger friend too. I wish they would sell cheap tuna though because then I would have a chance at getting some yummy stuff.
